Vanity Vs. Morality

Before human kind really existed on this earth, there were the dinosaurs, these creatures of unknown origin had demonstrated great strength and their will to survive one from off the other, some of them were predators able to kill at a moments notice, and there were also those who just lived their everyday lives unknowingly and not aware of any kind of trouble or heart aches and pains. But today, in this society of the world, there is much vanity and selfish-ambitions, and they all today fight against that in which has separated us from the animals, "morality," where has it gone? Growing up in a law abiding and structured family, I learned as I became older and had become self-aware of what morality and discipline were, I find today that vanity is defeating morality.

There are those individuals who are caught up with in a selfish-ambition time warp, this time warp of the mind, they themselves have created, it causes them to focus on the authority of vanity, on what to wear and to dress provocatively and how to look every five seconds, and to set themselves up as people pleasers, when they themselves have nothing valuable or tangible to please anyone with their vain personalities, their insecurities of themselves and reprobated minds. So, the battle today within this era is vanity verses morality.

Morality teaches us to love one another, regardless of color, race, creed or religion, but it teaches us that we are human, we hate, despise, steal and cheat one another and kill one another on a daily basis, physically, mentally and spiritually; vanity has blinded the truth and has set on to the course of morality rebellion and destruction, and this is what today's society want and indulges itself in as a person on an addiction to annihilation.

Morality, common sense and the knowing of being content all work hand in hand, but when the frailty of vanity, trying to be someone that your not, trying to pose as someone that your not, and trying to represent something that your not, and letting the cares of this world blind you in excitement from truly what is the most important are all lies, they are from the world of lies, the vanity of vanity, for all is vanity, it means nothing. What really matters today is contentment, gratefulness and the heart and the mind of being able and willing to do what is right and to hold to morality, because in the end that is what the judgment of the universe will require from each and every last one of us, our morality.

Vanity is a great sin, it is very disturbing to watch people indulge themselves into selfish-ambitions, starring in the mirror at themselves for hours, dressing to impress to get a response from men or women, spending money recklessly to try and to fit in with the in-crowd for show and tell, not being responsible to pay their debts and bills, and trying to use the vanity of sex appeal to get what they want and to manipulate the innocent and others just for their hearts desires, this is the true nature of vanity, and it is strong in the world today.

After all the pleasures and excitement is done, then morality, responsibility and the future sneaks up on you and reminds you that twenty years have gone by and complacency still has them in the world of illusion of vanity, so now its too late to do anything but to live as a leech, off of the system and on the kindness of others. Morality is the key and it should be lived by, by every person, because pleasures and desires only last for a little while, but success and stability last forever, you only get out of life from what you put into it, and you only deserve from life what you strived and accomplished from within it.
